Identity crisis.

I was just going through a few eBay wins tonight and I came across a fella I didn't recognise. Can anyone help with a manufacturer or even an ID? *UPDATE* The answer is in the comments! *UPDATE*

Can't seem to figure out where he's from. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

In other news, Oldhammer: The Weekend! is rapidly approaching and I have written a few words on the BLOOD forum which anyone on the fence about attending may find useful.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. This guy is from Citadel's Rogue Trooper range from the 80s I think. Nice catch!

    1. He certainly looks like one but Erny's link seems legit!

  2. Nope he is the first space marine scout, http://www.collecting-citadel-miniatures.com/wiki/index.php/Uncatalogued_Rogue_Trader

I've always used him with my space pirates armed with an autogun.

    1. That link needs updating because he appeared in a flyer (although I guess technically he didn't actually appear in a catalogue). He's not rare by the way. Nice figure though.

    3. Thanks for the extra clarification Steve, much appreciated. And don't worry, I hadn't put myself on the waiting list for Antiques Roadshow or anything!

    1. I'm quite happy with him, definitely won't be using him as a space marine scout though, he's a pirate if ever I saw one!

    3. Aah yes! There he is in action, looking badass. I will have to get mine into some action too ASAP.

    4. Hey thanks Asslessman! And thanks Warlord Paul! Yes, this figure is a very early Space Marine Scout. He is also one of my alltime favourite miniatures! And like you said, he is much more suited, (and happier) in his role as an intergalactic space pirate! Feared throughout the known galaxy some would say. Especially with his longstanding association with the Ulysses Gang! Look forward to seeing your version of him.
