Rogue Trader farm, not that one, a different one.

Today was supposed to be the day my wife gave birth, it didn't happen so the wait goes on! Today was also supposed to be the day I had time to scan Rogue Trader and upload it to Scribd so anyone can get their mitts on it. That didn't happen either, I tried but somehow the file got corrupted and imploded so I wasted a lot of time. I will try again tomorrow. To cheer myself up, I painted an old school Rogue Trader farm building which will become part of a crystalgrass and grox agricultural complex for my Boone's Landing setting. I have been working on a battle mat and a double-sided board to represent Boone's Landing and I am nearly finished thank goodness, the long drying times between stages and appalling weather has slowed this project to a snail's pace so it is good to finally make some progress again. The battle mat is desert and will allow me to run games for members of the club I go to while the board is desert one side and equatorial wetland the other (lots of yacht varnish).

Farm 73, Boone's Landing.

Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Thanks mate! They are yoghurt pots, of a brand the missus favours. She gobbles them speedily enough to give me a steady supply, waiting around for marge to get used up was too slow.

  3. Great looking building. Good luck with the hatching. One tip I found really useful, pack an overnight bag for yourself (if you are going to the hospital) with loads of decent coffee and reading material. There might be a lot of hanging about and the coffee in hospitals is usually dire and 100 miles from
    the maternity ward.

    1. Thanks for the compliment and advice. It will come in handy actually as though our hospital is blessed with a Costa it is quite a trek from maternity thinking about it.

  4. I agree, great looking building. bit more clean scifi than grimdark so not a bad thing and obviously straight out of RT.

Incidentally I believe it may already be on scribd.

Good luck with the BOJ and maybe talk more Saturday.

    1. Thanks Erny, yep heavily inspired by some RT photos. RT is indeed on Scribd (and linked from one of Orlygg's blogs) but it was set to private recently and I can't find another one. Besides, I tried again today and failed again so now it is personal.

      Talk more on Saturday.
